This tutorial was written by Mizteeque on June 8th 2015
written in psp9 but any version should work
any resemblance to other works in entirely coincidental
Open blank canvas 750 x 250
preset shapes tool
rounded rectangle, background color white, foreground null
draw out a rectangle to pretty much fill your canvas
convert to raster
select all, float, defloat, invert
c/p greenbg as new layer
move up a little so the sparkly bits show
hit delete on your keyboard
deselect
Delete the white rectangle
effects - penta.com - vtr2 default settings
image rotate, clockwise 90
repeat vtr2
image rotate, anticlockwise 90
c/p tube as new layer
resize to fit nicely
position to left hand side
duplicate
image, mirror
Merge down
duplicate
adjust blur, gaussian blur 3
change blend mode to hard light
change blend mode of original tube layer to luminance legacy
Make rectangle layer active
select all, float, defloat, invert
on tube layer hit delete on your keyboard
Invert selection
Selections, modify, select selections border, inside 5
new raster layer
floodfill with a color/gradient of choice
adjust, add noise, uniform, 70, monochrome
deselect
preset shapes tool, rectangle, make a fore/back linear gradient
using a dark & light colour from your tube, angle 45, repeats 2
draw out a slim rectangle across the bottom of your tag
but leaving a small gap at the very bottom
convert to raster
drag this layer below your border layer
effects - penta.com, jeans default settings
change blend mode to screen
text tool,
using a nice scripty font, size around 28/30 and a light color from your tube
type out "I beieve in Fairies" 3 or 4 times, whatever fits
effects - ec4 gradient glow, I used the fat settings but
changed the colour to the dark color from my tube and the size to 3
change blend mode to hard light
c/p sparks as new layer
To make matching avatar
Open blank canvas 200 x 200
draw out rounded rectangle to almost cover the canvas
convert to raster
select all, float, defloat, invert
then copy and paste each layer from your banner, positioning
to your liking as you go and hit delete on each one
except the border layer and the text layer
invert selection
modify, select selections border same settings as before
new raster layer
floodfill and add noise as before
deselect
Add Name and copyright information to both banner and avatar
merge visible
save as png
