Christmas Cheer





This tutorial was written by Mizteeque on 29th November 2020, in psp9 and assumes a working knowledge of psp.

Supplies Needed:
Tube of choice - I am using the beautiful artwork of Alex Prihodko 
which you can purchase from PicsForDesign 
Christmas Scrapkit of choice (you will need a red paper and some greenery at least in the kit) 
Mask of choice Font of choice

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Open blank canvas 
700 x 700 floodfill white
c/p paper of choice 

apply mask 
merge group

open red paper and choose it as your background pattern 
in your materials palette, foreground null
preset shapes, circle, line width 0 
hold down the shift key and draw out a circle in the middle of your canvas 
objects - align - center in canvas 
convert to raster 

select all, float, defloat, 
contract 50
delete
deselect

select all, float, defloat, 
expand by 5 
new raster layer 
floodfill with red 
add noise 100%, gaussian, monochrome 
repeat noise 
deselect 

drag below the red paper layer merge the two layers together
dulplicate twice, 
resize both duplicates by 80 
move one up and left, 
move the other down and right 
making sure the large frame is still on top and in the center

magic wand, feather 0, 
click inside the large frame 
expand by 5 
c/p paper of choice, 
invert, 
delete 
deslect, 
drag paper below frame

make left small circle active 
c/p some greenery/tree
repeat for right small circle 
add other elements of choice above the greenery 
but below the large center frame

add your tube resized to fit nicely on top of all other layers 
add some wordart if you wish 

add your name, license and copyright information 
delete white background layer 
merge visible 
crop and save as png

New Year Kisses



Supplies needed:

Mask of choice
Font of choice
NYKTag (save from bottom of post)

open blank canvas 700 x 700
floodfill white

c/p paper 13, apply mask, merge group

Dont forget to dropshadow as you go 2,5,40,10,black

element 55, resize 85, move it up and left a little
element 7, resize 50, position bottom left of frame
element 22, resize 90, position next to the bottle
element 29, resize 30, position bottom right of frame, slightly overlapping gold cone
element 39, position in front of previous elements
element 35, resize 40, position behind crown to the right slightly
c/p NYKTag position bottom right of tag, rotate left 5
element 56, resize 40, position behind NYKTag

c/p tube just above mask layer, position so face is in the middle of the frame
erase any tube that is outside of the frame, change blend mode to luminance
duplicate, adjust blur, gaussian blur 6, change blend mode to screen
lower opacity to 62 on both tube layers

make crown layer active, paste tube again, resize to fit
(60 if using the same as me and mirror)
position to the right of the tag
erase any showing below the NYKTag.

add name, copyright and license information
delete white background layer
merge visible
crop and save as png

Starry Night

Supplies needed:

My Scrapkit Starry Night
Font of choice
My supplies HERE

Filters - Muras Meister - copies
Eye Candy 4000 - glass

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Open supplies, place selection in your selections folder

open blank canvas 700 x 700
floodfill white

c/p paper 3
apply Miz_mask 187
resize 110

c/p element 39
resize 70
duplicate - merge down - repeat

c/p element 8
resize 20
muras meister, copies
encircle
change Number to 22
Shift x & Y to 57
dropshadow
(you may need to move the flower ring over a few pixels
just to center it perfectly)

open paper 5
load selection from disk
choose Miz_roundrec
copy
paste as new layer on your canvas
close paper 5 without saving

repeat for paper 3

drag the paper 5 rectangle below the lace layer
resize 80
effects - eye candy4, glass
on the basic tab
13.76, 75, 30, 35, 50, 0, 50 inside marquee, color white
on the lighting tab
86, 10, 100, 40, 0, 300, highlight color white
image effects, offset
horizonal 0, vertial 143, transparent checked

drag the paper 3 rectangle below the lace layer but on top of the first rectangle
resize 50
repeat glass effect
image effects, offset
horizontal 120, vertical 113, transparent checked
duplicate, mirror

now erase all parts of the rectangles showing inside the lace circle

c/p tube as new layer on top of all other layers
resize to fit

c/p elements 1, 3, 4, 7, 13, 14 & 19
resize each one between 20 & 30 to your liking
and arrange to your liking along the bottom of your tag
c/p element 12, resize 70, position among the flowers

duplicate, resize, mirror & flip any elements you wish
and position some behind your tube
really fill it up with flowers!

c/p element 20, resize 60
rotate right a little, position along bottom of tag
duplicate, mirror

add any other elements you wish

make one of the smaller rectangles active, duplicate & flip
then move it in towards the center a little, but so its still
poking out from behind the flowers
duplicate, mirror

dropshadow all elements 2,5,50,8,black

add your name, copyright and license information
delete white background layer
merge visible
crop and save as png

Silver Bells

Open supplies

open blank canvas 700 x 700
floodfill white

copy and paste paper as new layer
apply mask
merge group

preset shapes, ellipse
width 20, foreground set to foil pattern
background null, 
draw out a small circle in the middle of your canvas
align, center in canvas
convert to raster
adjust, brightness & contrast
B54, C15
adjust, sharpen more
repeat brightness

duplicate
position side by side, but make one slightly
higher than the other and just overlapping slightly
erase the part of the bottom one that is showing
inside the top one
merge down

magic wand, feather 0, mode Add(shift)
click inside both parts of the frame
expand by 4
paste paper again
invert, delete
deselect
drag paper layer below frame layer

c/p swirl
resize by 60
position along bottom of frame

c/p berries
position on top of swirl

c/p fir
resize 40
position below swirl but to the left
duplicate, image, mirror
move so it is poking out from behind the swirl

c/p diamond circle
resize 40
image effets, offset
H-68, V54 transparent

duplicate
offset, H146, V-155
merge down
drag down to just above your mask layer

c/p snowflake swirl
resize 70
duplicate twice and flip &/or mirror 
to show some of the snowflakes to your liking

c/p silver bells
resize 30
drag to top of layer palette
position at the end of the berries stalk

c/p ribbon
position behind silver bells

Make frame layer active
magic wand, click inside the left one
expand by 4
c/p your close up tube
invert
delete
invert
duplicate tube
adjust blur, gaussian blur 9
deselect

change blend mode on bottom tube to luminance legacy
change blend mode on top tube to screen
change opacity of both tube layers to 58
drag tube layers below frame layer

c/p tube above frame layer
but below all other elements
resize to fit nicely over top of empty frame

dropshadow, tube, elements and frame

add name, copyright and license information
delete white bg layer
merge visible
save as png
