Vintage Valentine

Supplies needed:

Tube of choice, I am using the beautiful artwork of Jennifer Janesko

which I purchased from CILM when it was open but you can now 

purchase from CDO

Open blank canvas 700 x 700

floodfill white

c/p flower cluster 1, resize 15

muras meister - copies - encircle

number 15, shift x & y 70

c/p flower 2, resize 30

repeat muras

rotate left 5

layers - arrange - move down

c/p frame, resize 38

magic wand, feather 0, click outside the frame

expand by 3, invert selection

on both the flower layers hit delete once

deselect

c/p flower cluster 2, position bottom left

paste tube as new layer

resize and position as necessary

erase the bottom of the tube so it looks like

it is coming out from the frame

d/s

c/p paper

apply mask, merge group

resize 108

move down layer palette to just above the white background 

c/p wordart

add name, license and copyright information

delete white background layer

merge visible

crop and save as png

TV - Chewing Gum for the Eyes

Supplies Needed: 

Tube of choice - I am using the beautiful artwork of Jennifer Janesko

Font of choice

open blank canvas 700 x 250

c/p television, move down a little so the screen
is in the center of your canvas

freehand selection tool, feather 1, select round the 
screen of the television

c/p tube, resize to fit nicely inside the screen
invert selection, delete
change blend mode to luminance legacy

c/p grain 1, resize 30, position to your liking within the selection
delete
repeat but move to a slightly different position
c/p grain 2, resize 30, position to your liking within the selection
delete
deselect

change blend mode to dodge on all three grain layers
and lower opacity to 66
make sure grain 2 layer is active
layers - arrange - move down

hide the top 2 grain layers
copy merged 

open Animation Shop
paste as new animation

back in psp
hide bottom grain layer
unhide middle grain layer

in AS paste after current frame

back in psp
hide middle grain layer
copy merged

in AS paste after current frame
repeat twice more

back in psp
unhide top grain layer
copy merged

in AS paste after current frame

OK now we have our animation ready, go back to psp and lets build the rest of the tag

hide all layers on our canvas except the bottom one
floodfill with #d5be92

c/p film as new layer
duplicate, rotate, mirror, flip several times to cover the canvas
merge visible

using a small pixel font, type out "TV CHEWING GUM FOR THE EYES" several times 
until it reaches right across your canvas
convert to raster
position approx 1 cm up from the bottom edge
change blend mode to dodge
duplicate and position approx 1cm down from the top edge

Add name, license and copyright information

copy merged

in AS paste as new animation, duplicate until you have 6 frames
make the TV canvas active, ctrl & A to select all frames, copy
on FILM canvas, ctrl & A, paste into selected frames, 
position the TV to your liking and click once

save as gif

Dark Passion

Supplies needed:

Tube of choice - I am using the gorgeous artwork of Jennifer Janesko

A dark red scrap paper (optional)

Mask HERE

Font of choice

Open blank canvas 700 x 700

floodfill white

c/p paper as new layer (or floodfill a new layer with a dark red colour)

apply mask 

merge group

resize by 80 and move to the left a little

duplicate

image mirror, image flip

merge the two mask layers together

c/p cluster frame as new layer

c/p close up tube

drag below your frame layer

position to your liking in the right side of the frame

erase any extra showing on the outside of the frame

change blend mode to hard light

c/p tube as new layer

position to your liking in the left hand side

of the frame, but leave the head above the frame

erase the bottom half of the tube, the bit sticking out

below the frame 

duplicate tube

Drag duplicate above frame layer

erase the bottom half of the tube layer

and any bits that hide the cluster

Dropshadow the bottom tube layer

2.5,50,8, black

Add name and copyright information

delete white background layer

Merge visible

Crop and save as png

rotate left slightly

position to left, just covering the frame a little

drag below frame layer

position bottom right, just sticking out from behind the frame

duplicate and rotate left slightly, move up a bit

duplicate again, image, mirror and position so it sticks out from

behind the violin

duplicate once more, image flip, position at bottom of violin

resize by 40

position at top of tag

apply a white gradient glow following settings

make mask layer active

c/p tube as new layer

if using the same tube as me, resize by 80

move to the right slightly and erase any bits sticking out 

from behind the frame

delete white b/g layer

merge visible

crop and save as png
