Movie Star






this tutorial was written by Mizteeque on 8th July 2014
written in psp9 but any version should work
any similarities to any other works is purely coincidental

Supplies needed:

Tube of choice - I am using the artwork of Barbara Jensen

My scrapkit Hollywood
Font of choice 

Filter - Eye Candy 4 Gradient Glow

Ok lets begin!!

Note: c/p = copy and paste as new layer
d/s = dropshadow 2,5,50,9, black

1.Open blank canvas 800 x 800
floodfill white

2. c/p paper 1
apply mask
merge group

3. c/p element 27 - movie reel
resize by 36
position at bottom left corner of mask
d/s

4. c/p element 20 - clipboard
resize by 36
using deform tool, rotate a little to the left
d/s
position top right
duplicate, resize by70, rotate right a little

5. make mask layer active, 
c/p element 14 - film strip
image, rotate, right 52

6. magic wand
tolerance 10, feather 0, mode add
Click inside each of the frames, expand by 2
new raster layer, floodfill white
Lower opacity to 64
drag white layer below filmstrip, deselect

7. magic wand inside the top frame of the filmstrip
expand selection by 2
c/p tube so face is showing
selections, invert, hit delete on your keyboard
deselect

8. repeat but select the middle frame of the filmstrip
and position a different part of your tube to show
and repeat again for the bottom frame of filmstrip.

9. merge all 3 tube layers together and
drag below filmstrip
lower opacity to 64

10. c/p tube above filmstrip again and position
to the left. Mirror if you need to.  
Drag Movie Reel to top of layer palette

11. open wordart
select round the Movie Star part
copy and paste as new layer
position at the bottom of the tag
apply white gradient glow 

12. Make filmstrip layer active
apply gradient glow with same settings
d/s

13.  add name and copyright information
delete white bg layer
merge visible
crop and save as png.
